Elevation offers duet and trio competitions as part of all our dance competitions. Duet and trio competitions allow groups of two or three dancers to compete and showcase their dancing skills. Only one form per duet or trio is required.
Our duet and trio competitions include the following categories:
- Jazz
- Lyrical
- Contemporary
- Hip Hop
- Break Dance
- Ballet
- Character
- Open
Every dance category is divided into five divisions to accommodate for age and level of experience:
- Novice
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Intermediate Plus
- Advanced
***PLEASE READ***
There are divisions for ages pre-school through eighteen. If there are less than 2 contestants they will be combined with another division if possible. If not, they will be given a ranking and placement. Any division with 6 or more will be divided.
This year duets and trios will be held on March 13th & April 10th, 2026, locations will be at the Utah State Fairgrounds in the Grand Building for March and April is TBD.
