Elevation offers solo dance competitions as part of every dance competition we organize. Solo dance competitions allow every dancer the opportunity to showcase his or her skills. All solo dance competitions are family friendly and require every dancer to choreograph and costume a dance routine that is appropriate for all ages.
Our solo dance competitions include the following categories:
- Jazz
- Lyrical
- Contemporary
- Hip Hop
- Break Dance
- Ballet
- Character
- Open
Every dance category is divided into five divisions to accommodate for age and level of experience:
- Novice
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Intermediate Plus
- Advanced
***PLEASE READ***
There are divisions for ages pre-school through eighteen. If there are less than 2 contestants, they will be combined with another division or given a ranking and placement. Any division with 6 or more will be divided.
This year solos will be held on April 12th & 19th, 2024, location will be Summit Academy High School, 14942 So. 560 West, Bluffdale, UT 84065.
